St. John Vianney Music Ministry

«Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.» – Matthew 28:19

In unity with our parish mission “to know Jesus and make Him known,” our Music Ministry exists to live out the Great Commission by inviting people into Christian discipleship through the beauty and power of sacred music.

We seek to lead the assembly in full, conscious, and active participation in the liturgy, to encourage one another as disciples, and to proclaim the Gospel through song. To help us serve with clarity, unity, and joy, all members of our ministry participate in PRELUDIUM, our process for forming and equipping ministers of music.

Roles within our Music Ministry Team include:

  • Parish Music Minister
  • Ensemble Leader
  • Ensemble Member
  • Cantor
  • Honors Choir Member
  • Children’s and/or Teen Choir Member
  • Children’s and/or Teen Choir Assistant
  • Assistant to Music Minister
